My name is Yumna Ahmed and this site contains my assignments for English 1100.

English 110 is a course that thoroughly explores language politics, challenges students to reflect on their personal relationship with language, and formulate their own arguments when it comes to language and literacy. We did this through writing multiple drafts of a personal narrative, rhetorical analysis paper, research paper, and discussing different historical texts about language. The different assignments allowed us to tap into different genres of writing (op-ed, research paper, etc.) to establish our purpose.
